You will leave with your own answer.

Executive and personal coaching for women in life sciences, in English or in Italian. One to one, a group of six, or a team that meets differently.

Executive and team coaching

Experienced women leave, or quietly stop putting themselves forward, at exactly the point they have become most valuable. Usually not because of the job. Because the conversation about what they want next never quite happens, and there is nowhere in the week to have it.

Three ways companies use this:

One to one

An hour for someone who is asked her view in every meeting and answers on the spot, because there is nowhere in the week to work out what she actually thinks. Goals are agreed at the outset, between her, you and me. Within those, the hour is hers: she brings what matters that week, nobody interrupts, and she leaves with her own answer rather than mine. I have spent twenty years in this industry, so no one has to explain the roles or the pressures first.

Thinking Uninterrupted, for teams

Everyone thinks out loud, in turn, without being talked over, so the best thinking in the room reaches the decision rather than the fastest. Most meetings are built to arrive at an outcome. These are built to find out what people actually think first, because what a team produces will not be better than the thinking behind it.

Coach in residence

A regular presence rather than a one-off engagement. One to one and with teams, at a rhythm that suits the organisation, so the thinking has somewhere to go before it becomes a resignation.

Before anything is agreed

Every engagement starts with a free conversation of thirty minutes with you, and with the person who would be coached, before anything is proposed or costed. Nobody is assigned a coach they have not met.

Practical note

For companies in Italy or Switzerland working in English: I coach in English as a native speaker, so an hour of coaching is also an hour of thinking and speaking in English at full speed, with someone who does not need it slowed down. Coaching and language training are usually two separate budgets. This work can be drawn from either.

How engagements work

One to one

Sixty minutes, usually every two or three weeks. The number of sessions and the period they run over are agreed at the start, along with the goals.

Thinking Uninterrupted, with a team

Length and frequency are agreed with the organisation, because a team of six and a team of sixteen do not need the same room. Some run once, on a single question. Others at a regular rhythm across a year.

Coach in residence

A standing arrangement rather than a fixed number of sessions: a set amount of time each month, used for one to one work, team sessions, or both, and reviewed together at agreed points.

For all three

Online from anywhere, in person in Milan and the surrounding area, and by arrangement in the UK or Switzerland. In English or in Italian, whichever the thinking happens in.
